HOOPMAJIC NEWS #4- June 10th, 2009 0 IN THIS EDITION: More Level 1 Workshops First Level 2 Workshop Father's Day Workshop Special Level 1 Drop-ins - feedback, please! Video Inspiration 0 Greetings, beautiful hoopers and soon-to-be-hoopers~ 0 What a gorgeous summer! I can't think of anything better than hooping on the sandbar at Roberts Creek beach, with my feet in the ocean and the wind in my hair... I plan to do that before the week is done, so watch for RoseAnn and I with the Mother Hoop (our 6 ft. diameter beauty) when the tide is out. Maybe see you there :^) 0 Thanks to all of our Level 1 hoopers so far ~ you're wonderful! I can't tell you how much fun it is to see everyone make so much progress in the workshops. And smiling, smiling, smiling. I hope you're all enjoying your hoops, we'd love to hear from you with progress updates — this shouldn't be a one-way street! 0 Level 1 "Intro to Hoopdancing" workshops are continuing for the next two weekends. Watch for the $5 credit coupon in the Coast Reporter, towards the purchase of your own hoop with workshop registration. Visit our website for details, dates, and to register online, or call us at 604-989-0243 for more info. 0 The first "Intro to Hoopdancing" Level 2 workshop is on Sunday, June 28th, 2-4pm. This will be of interest to R.C. HoopGroupers who have already learned the basics of Level 1 moves, and want a quick start to the next level, and to those who have taken or will be taking the Level 1 workshop. More info on details and prerequisites for this workshop here or contact us. 0 Bring your Dad on Father's Day! Why not treat your Dad to some fabulous fitness fun? Sign up for our June 21st workshop and bring your Dad for $10 off his workshop price. Hooping is a great way to spend time together! 0 Level 1 Drop-ins: Planning Stage ~ In response to your feedback, we're thinking of adding a hooping drop-in for Level 1 hoopers to our schedule. Tentatively planned for Tuesday evenings, R.C. Hall, 6-7p.m. during the rest of the summer, at a cost of $10. These sessions would give you a chance to practice your moves under our watchful eyes (ha, just kidding)... Actually we would be offering advice and encouragement and helpful tips. Interested? Let us know. 0 What would fit YOUR schedule? If you're interested in taking a workshop but our particular dates/times don't work out for you, please tell us.
